Shad
Valley is a month long summer program for over 700 students from across Canada and
the world. This opportunity is open to all students in grades 10, 11 and 12.
Students stay in residence at
various universities across Canada.
During the month students participate in a wide variety of STEAM
(Science, technology, engineering, art and math) based lectures, workshops,
projects and activities that will challenge them to think outside the box and
make interdisciplinary connections.
Speakers include university professors, business leaders, entrepreneurs
and innovators. This is a highly
competitive program that is an excellent opportunity for any student interested
in science and engineering.
